My Mix Tile Gallery Wall

Back in March my little family and I quickly packed up our 2 bedroom downtown Nashville apartment and with the help of my in-laws quickly drove to Indiana where our new house had been built. When I say quickly pack, I mean I got everything packed in about one day and we loaded up. It wasn’t an easy load up either, we lived on the 6th floor and had to get to the uhal on the first, down the hall way, around the corner and down the moving elevator. I don’t think my feet have ever hurt so bad.

When we got to our new home I had all the visions of a gallery wall. I couldn’t wait to customize our new walls to tell whatever family story we decided in pictures. After lots of searching online(thanks to covid we couldn’t get out of the house to look), measuring and planning I couldn’t help but think with a gallery wall, my new walls would be pounded with holes.

Then, I happened to get an ad for Mix Tiles. I realized I could create my own gallery wall and not even put a single hole in the wall. Seriously, these are amazing because they STICK to your walls! We didn’t have to measure, hammer, measure again, hammer again. We were able to remove the sticker, place and rearrange our gallery wall the way we wanted to. It is one of my favorite parts of our home. We have had these up in our house since about May and they haven’t budged once. The quality is amazing and everyone that comes into your home will be asking about them!

At first I was going to do family photos in our gallery wall but I already had three large family photos up. My husbands loves photography and we have a lot great pictures that he has taken. So for us we decided to use his photography to tell our Mix Tiles story. We used pictures from places we have traveled to, places we have lived and a few of our favorite memories. I just love this way and how it all turned out. Each picture is so special to our family story. We couldn’t be happier with these in our home!
