Cozy blankets. Clean sheets. The burn of diet coke. Rain. Little winks from my husband. A tight hug. My daughters laugh. The moon. Chipotle for dinner. My Papa’s popcorn. My Mama’s Mexican food. Toddler imagination. Late night walks. All things lavender. Golden Retriever greetings. Coffee.
A little about me 🙂
On June 9th, 2013 I walked into my 4th week at a new church I had been trying and met the sweetest thing my heart has ever known. At the time I didn’t know I was meeting my future husband. I knew Jake was about to be something special when on the first night I met him he had me belly laughing and I didn’t feel one bit embarrassed about my deep, true, from the bottom of my stomach laugh. We started dating quickly, were engaged after 5 months and married on August 17th, 2014. They say, “when you know, you know” and that was true for us. Ever since the moment Jake has stepped into my life he has loved me for me. He has the kindest, sweetest heart and leads me to Jesus daily. Not to mention incredibly hilarious and a saint of a man to understand my forgetfulness, clumsiness and never ending blonde moments. I am so thankful I get to be his wife and share life together.
On February 6th, 2015 Jake and I received a huge and wonderful surprise. We found out we are pregnant with our first baby! We feel incredibly blessed to be expecting such precious gift. On October 7th, or sometime around there, we will be a family of three with a sweet, little, beautiful baby 
girl, Jae Lynn. Pregnancy has not been the easiest for me, being sick almost every day since we found out I was pregnant but I remind myself of how blessed I am to be entrusted with such a gift! We cannot wait to meet her, love her, laugh with her, comfort her and learn about life from her.
Update: On October 8th, 2016 my sweet girl Jae came into the world. You can read all about her on this corner of the internet but she is our greatest adventure. She is now 3 years old and full of energy. She loves life and loves her family big!
Most of all I love Jesus with all my heart, soul and mind. He is my strength, my hope, my provider, my comforter and my peace. He has never left me, never forsaken me and never forgotten me. His love will forever reign, his truth will always prevail and his light will always shine. I am His treasured clay.
