Favorite Wayfair Finds

If you have moved 5 times within the last 5 years raise your hand…*slowly raises hand*. It is safe to say we have had our fair share of moving boxes and uhaul trucks in the past few years. Between two cross country moves (NY-AZ) (AZ-TN), one in-state move and one close state to state move(TN-IN) it is safe to say I don’t want to see another uhaul truck in my drive way for a very long time (also, big thanks to all of our parents for being pro packers now). But, I am thankful all of our moves have led us to where we live now! Also, fun fact when we lived in Downtown Nashville, I packed our two bed room apartment up in one day. I was on a mission and I’m glad I worked quickly. (Also, nothing broke in that process, haha!)

The day after we left Nashville in 2020 was the day everything shut down due to covid and we ended up getting one of the last uhauls around before they were few-and-far between. Once I got to my new home I quickly realized we had gotten rid of much of our furniture moving into a two bedroom apartment and now needed to fill a new home with more rooms. While furniture and home shopping all sounds fun, we weren’t able to do it with all the closures. Thankfully we live in the 21st century where furniture shopping can also be at our fingertips (although it can be dangerous, LOL) So, cue Wayfair!

Wayfair has just about everything you could need for a home and a new home owners dream-especially the home owner that can’t leave the house and needs something to sit in. Sometimes finding the right piece with the right comfort and size can be a challenge and also a little overwhelming with all the options the internet gives you. While searching for the perfect piece I looked at the dimensions and used my measuring tape more times than I could count but I have been so happy with the pieces we chose. I hope some of these options can make your shopping easier and less overwhelming.

Here is a look at my favorites, follow my instagram to see each piece in my home under “decor finds” on my story highlights. The links to each piece is listed below! Keep reading for how I use each one as well.

  1. Steel horizontal book case: I was looking for a side board table or an entertainment center to use under our mounted TV in our family room. It was getting tricky because the side boards were more money than I wanted to spend. I found this book case (very similar) and it has worked out perfectly. I love it because I can display a few lanterns and greenery on top, a few photos on another shelf and I use the bottom shelf for toy/book storage to have quick access to for my little one. It has been perfect!
  2. Tall vertical steel book case: This bookcase/shelving unit has been the perfect accent piece in my sitting room. I love how it can take up the whole wall and I’m not piecing lots of furniture together to fill the space. I also love to display my cookbooks and this is the perfect shelving for it. I have been able to put lots of keepsakes on this unit as well as family photos I wanted to display.
  3. Gray patio furniture- I was able to find my set on wayfair but unfortunately I can not find it there for the life of me. But I was able to find it on overstock and linked that above. We have loved this set for our front porch. Patio furniture can be so pricey but for the amount of pieces you get with this set and it includes the cushions the price point seems fair. I like to add decorative pillows to the chairs each season to spruce them up.
  4. Tufted sette- I love this sweet accent couch. I originally bought it for my sitting room but once I received this piece and I realized it was too small for the wall we were putting it on. Thankfully my daughters room needed a sitting area and this was the perfect fit. We have loved it in her room and could not be happier with it. I am so thankful she has it. If you have a smaller wall or even walkway this would be the perfect tufted accent couch. It would be really cute in a teens room as well!
  5. Armchairs- My favorites! I loved these accent chairs so much that I have them in both my sitting room and my family room. I love that they add a pop of color and I love the detailed legs. I feel like it really makes the look complete. There are also more color options. I would definitely call them an accent chair and not like your favorite comfy chair to watch tv in but they serve us well!

I hope these give you some ideas if you are in need of new furniture and make your home cozy! Let me know which ones you love!
