Valentine’s Day has always been one of my favorite days. I love the hearts, pink every where, flowers it’s just a sweet day to me.

This year was extra sweet because my two year old was really into it. I let her pick out whatever cards she wanted for her daddy and grandparents and they fit her personality perfectly. She picked out a few boxes of chocolates to give out and loved reading valentine books.

I wanted her to feel really special on Valentine’s Day morning. She is currently obsessed with Peppa Pig so we had a full on peppa valentines. I found a few balloons to add to our decorations and lots of peppa gifts. Before I went to work we had a fun breakfast with donuts, peppa and gifts!

My husband started a little tradition last year that is the sweetest. He’s buying her flowers on valentines every year. She was so sweet and loved her flowers. She was sad when they died and said “but daddy bought them for me” so sweet In the coming years when she is a little older I would love to do special valentine activities for her to know where her love truly comes from. These are a few verses I’d love for her to cling to:

• 1 Corinthians 16:14 “do all things in love”
• John 15:12 “Love each other as I have loved you”
• 1 John 4:7 “Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God.”

I love all of these verses and the truth they ring. Valentine’s Day is a sweet and loving day but the love from the Lord is always and showing his love will glorify him! 💕
