Sedona, Arizona is only about 2 hours from where I live. A few weekends ago we decided to drive up for the day to explore. We just made it a day trip and it was the perfect amount of time. The temperatures are much cooler than they are in phx and the red rocks are so beautiful!

Once we got to Sedona we started our day off with exploring Bell Rock. We are not big hikers by any means and with a 1 year old we needed something simple but fun. This was the perfect little path with amazing scenery. We were able to get a great view of all the red rocks and our little girl loved running and playing on the rocks. Our next stop was one of my favorite places in Sedona, L’Auburge hotel and spa for lunch. It is the perfect atmosphere. I think I’ve actually mentioned it in Let’s Catch Up 3. We were able to sit outside right next to the creek for fresh air and enjoy their amazing food. It’s becoming one of those places I know I’m going to treasure. Our next stop was the Main Street area. We walked up and down, enjoying the red rocks and stopping in a few shops. We had to get my little girl some ice cream to make her day complete.

Most of all I’m thankful for a sweet day with my little family. I’m thankful we’re able to do these types of trips and for the breath of fresh air it gives us.
