I love children’s books. Growing up they were read in our home all the time and now those same books have been given to my daughter. Something about looking through them now and reading them to my daughter brings me a sense of comfort. I love those memories growing up reading with my parents and am so happy to have lots of children’s books in our home.

Did you also know I was a teacher for 6 years before staying home with my daughter? I think that is why sometimes I geek out over children’s books. Especially Christmas books! There are so many fun holiday stories but also so many beautiful books about the birth of our Savior. I will tell you some of these Children’s books about Jesus’ birth make me cry. Such a sweet, simple, child-like faith approach that re-centers me and reminds me to slow down this season are truly seek the presence of Christ. Currently, my favorite book were reading is Room For Little One. The last page reads “that cold night, beneath the stars’ light..a Little One came for the world.” ugh, I just love that. “Came FOR the world”
