Preschool-Aged Gifts

These are the sweetest gifts for preschool aged kiddos. I have a little girl so its easy for me to gear things more in that direction, but I’ll try to ask some mom friends about more gifts too. We have all of these gifts except this particular kitchen and I can say each of these items are well used in our house. They each have become staples in Jae’s play!

I love kid toys that I know can bring such enjoyment and that also have learning benefits as well! I am breaking each one down for you here and they are also linked to amazon:

Calico Critters: In our house we have to have these sweet little figures. The set pictured is the set we started and it is still used today. I pictured the little cat family but they have so many different animals to choose from. We have grown Jae’s collection of these critters and they bring so much imagination!

Duplo Lego House: Jae got this from her Grandparents for her birthday this year. It is so fun that she can play pretend house with it and also build other things with it as well. We have it in our downstairs for her and she plays with it all the time.

Melissa and Doug Stamps: Such a good activity! Grab some paper and they can go to town! Jae loves to stamp then color them in with the color pencils provided in the box. I know there are lots of other themes in these stamps as well if you’re searching for trucks or dinosaurs I think you could find them by Melissa and Doug! Love that we can get an art activity in!

Pajama Party book: Such a sweet take on nursery rhymes. I got this book at a book fair at a school I taught at. We have read it so many times and the illustrations are so precious.

Peppa Pig 5 minute stories: Jae is a big Peppa fan and reading is important to us so having Peppa as the main character helps us get stories in. Our copy of this book is falling apart we have read it so much!

Snap Pop Beads: Jae got these as a present from one of her aunts and they are SO much fun! They all just snap together so she can make her own jewelry without help of holding a string. She will sit at our counter and create all sorts of jewelry. I love that they will hold her attention and she is even learning patterns and sized with them.

Play Kitchen: We don’t have this kitchen but have a similar one. Kitchen bring great imaginary play and are so good for kids! Jae loves to cook in her kitchen and there are so many cute pretend food sets to go with. This particular kitchen is so pretty and a great price!

Leave me a comment if you are going to order any of these or if you kids would like them!
