Sunday’s can be such a great day. Relaxing, peaceful, calming and ready to take on the week. Or, they can be completely overwhelming, and filled with intimidating thoughts of how to get everything checked off your to-do list for the busy week.

I know my upcoming week is going to be a busy one, so my Sunday immediately started off with worrying thoughts, trying to figure out how to check things off my to do list when all a pregnant girl wants to do is rest!

Whenever I started to feel this way, thankfully, I remember I am not in control, but He is. My dear friend bought me these scripture cards a few years ago from Redeemed Girl Ministries and I am obsessed with them. They are so great to meditate on throughout the day. Today, I came across a card that brings so much peace in the midst of my busy mind.

The verse reads: “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

This verse reminded me I never have to be terrified or discouraged of the upcoming because he is with me wherever I go. So whatever you’re facing this Sunday, big or small, I hope this verse gives you a peace of mind that we can trust in Him to be with us through it all. He commands us to be strong and courageous, not terrified or discouraged!

I pray your Sunday will be a little more peaceful with this verse running through your mind and pray your week is full of moments where you know He is with you.
