I believe quiet time is important. Even if it is just for a few minutes a day to clear your mind from a busy day. I believe this time is something that your soul needs to continue on through the week with a refreshed mind. Sometimes quiet time may mean ten minutes before bed when everyone else is asleep or just taking care of yourself with a cup of tea and a bath. This can look different for everyone, so I wanted to share a few of my favorites and additional resources to them.
Favorite quiet times:
- Reading a devotional or self love book: I love being refreshed by the word and letting it soak into my soul during quiet time. I love grabbing a devotional and a journal and learning what God has given me. A few of my favorite devotionals and books are, Jesus Calling, Flourish, The Best Yes and Uninvited.
- Read your favorite blog: I love reading other people’s thoughts, experiences and how-to’s. Some of my favorite blogs are Lauren Conrad, The Every Girl, Joy the Baker(the first blog I ever read and was hooked) and Proverbs 31 ministries.
- Take a bubble bath: My favorite!! I love all things lavender so here’s a few of my favorite bubble baths: Bath and Body Works Aromatherapy Sleep, Mineral Bath Lavender , lavender bath bomb.
I hope in the upcoming weeks you can take few moments to be still and create your own unique quiet time that refreshes your soul! Comment below and let me know what your favorite way to have quiet time is.
